This week was a special week because bit was environment week; environment week is where we do lots of fun and healthy for our plant things

Literacy

This week in literacy we made a news paper about environment week and it was all online so no trees were cut down! I went with my friend Laura and we made a movie on the news paper to promote it. The movie is on my blog so just scroll down and you will see my friend in a chair being tipped over!!

Maths

This week in maths we learnt about pyramids. I know this does not sound like Maths but it was. My friends and I found a pyramid called the black pyramid. IT was made out of mud brick and was not that stable and it collapsed.

Weekend

Saturday

On Saturday i did nothing i just went in my room practised my guitar and tennis.

Sunday

On Sunday I had a sow off session with my acting class and I think I did well

Literacy

This week in literacy I was with Miss Murnane’s class and we were doing something called recipical reading. It is where you read a book and then you predict, clarify, ask questions, visual and then connect with the book in some way.

What I found easy

I found it easy to visual because all you had to do was draw a pitcher of something that the book made you thinks of. I also found predict easy because you had to write what you thought the book was about by just looking at the pitchers.

What I found hard

I found the clarify bit hard because what you had to do is clarify 4 words you where not shore of and I knew all the words so in the end Miss Murnane said find a word that is spelt funny 🙂

Maths
This week in maths we were learning more stuff about decimals mostly on dividing and adding. We have been learning decimals for about 4 weeks and it was all worth it because I was never that good at decimals but know I think I have improved heaps.

What I found easy

I found the dividing decimals easy because all you have to do is move it back one space depending on the number you might need to move it back 2 spaces.

What I found hard

I found the whole decimal thing hard at the stat but from then it has been easy and I learnt heaps.

The week end

Saturday

on Saturday my friend Paris came over and we Did the forty hour famine. While we did this we made a cake ( WE DID NOT EAT AND OF IT) and then that night we had a sleep over and watched T.V (cake boss)(awesome show). That whole day we did not eat we just had juice and bail sugar.

Sunday

On Sunday at 12:00 pm we where allowed to eat so when it was 11:50 we went to the bakery and got a pie and I’m telling you it was a good pie.

For my R.E project Georgia, catlien and I did Buddhism. In this project i found out allot about who they worship and what they do in this religion.

I learnt that Buddhist believe in something called rebirth which is where when you die you get a second life. If you are good for your life then you will be something good in your second life like a human, but if you do something bad then you will probably become something bad like a bug.

I think next time we could have used my time more wisely because we did not get much done in our book.

Lately in literacy we have been doing these pomes called start and stop poems. Start and stop poems are where you do a poem but what you start with you finish with. Example – I stare then you have your poem as I stare. It is really hard to explain but you get the idea. Here are some of mine….

As I lay down….

As I lay down all snug as a bug, I shut my heavy eyelids tight. Thoughts start to wonder around my head some about friends, others about school but mostly on food. I imagine my mind as a clear flowing river and the silver salmon fish are my thoughts. Soon a dream comes alone dancing and prancing with a horse and a hen. Dreams are so weird but so beautiful, all as I lay down.

Whatever you do……

Whatever you do don’t touch the super tasty die for cupcakes I say nearly flooding the house with dribble. I   stare at the luscious topping with chocolate chips in plated on it as the topping melts down the spongy side. My lips get dry my mouth drops as i am hypnotised. I start to walk over. No I say whatever you do.

I did some more but they are my favourite. Ope you liked them.      Ally.vb

“i don’t want to””well to bad chris your going” snaped mum. I stormed up to my room. You are probaly thinking what is going on well ……..
I have to go out to see my aunty who gines big weird kisses. i hate it. ” get ready ” shouted mum. ohhh i get in my nice cloths. we get in the car. 20 min later mum gets a text message saying PARTY IS OFF FROM SHELL! yes i get to play videos games all day and mabey ring sam. then we will it will be double the fun. i am so exited.

On the 9 of November the year 5/6 of St Thesrse primary school went surfing at the beach.we did not just surf but we did some nippers as well. We where broken Into two classes and we swapped around every 2 hours. First my group went surfing and it was awesome. Paris ( one of best friends) and I went out to the back and we both got some really good waves but some really bad ones. After we got out the other group got fish and chips before they went surfing. Our fish and chips took ages to come so we played games why we where waiting. We mainly played zip wars but we had water fights with our drink bottles. Finally our chips. You had to share one pack but me and my friends put all the bags together to make one big bag. After. W had to do nippers and I had a really really big stitch and I could not really run. My friend Rylee had a really bid stitch to. We both ran holding our ribs. We where separated into 3 groups i had only one friend in my group. We first had to run the water I forgot what this is called but it had a special name for it. My dad was helping that day so her was doing that actively. He didn’t really say much to me but he said hi. After we had some free time in the water. I body surfed. After that we finished up packed up all of our stuff and headed back to school. Paris did to know where her socks had gone, she looked every where and when she was one the bus the teacher had found them on the floor she was so relieved. Then we headed back on the bust my teacher told use some scary stories and I had a really fun day.

For our big idea this term our big idea topic is mission. Mission day is where the 5/6s make stores and the preps 1/2s and 3/4s come and buy things from there stores. All the monet raised in your store gets donaited a charity you picked. my charity picked the Royal Childrens Hostibal. We picked it because we want to help all the sick all the sick children of victoria. They do not just qua sicknesses but they also do metical reserch to fing new ways to qua things. The Royal Childrend hostibal also does not make the kids better but make them happy to. they have merkats in the phoya and clowns coe into the kids room to cheer them up after a ruff time.
